Are Your App-V Components Up To Date?

UPDATED 06/10/12 WITH HOTFIX 7 FOR APP-V CLIENT

I often see many people still using App-V 4.6 SP1 RTM when there are now several hotfixes available, perhaps because they do not come down via Windows Update so you’d only know about them if you went looking for them. They can fix a range of issues; for instance I have seen several random unsolvable application crashes resolved by updating to the latest client hotfix, so before you engage in any lengthy troubleshooting sessions always check the version of the App-V client!  Below is a list of all of the currently available updates including direct download links, and I will update this page as and when new fixes are made available.  Each one is cumulative, so for example to apply hotifx 7 you do not need to install the 1-6 releases that came before it.

Server:

• Hotfix 2 for App-V v4.5 SP2 (KB2507096)

Sequencer:

This one is a complete installer rather than an MSP patch.  No need to install the RTM version beforehand, in fact the updated version will prompt you to uninstall it first!
